Children's birthday party - group to make bunting for the birthday child, and individually a pincushion or needle case for every child to take home.

 

Hen party - make a pair of knickers (or a garter for the bride!)

 

Or you might just want to get together with a group of your friends and have a lovely 'sewciable' evening!
