Information on COVID19 / Coronavirus re SewJoBaker Classes or lessons
At present I am following government guidelines, continuing with classes as normal and ensuring extra hygiene steps are taken. All sewing machines and workstations are wiped down with anti-bacterial wipes at the end of classes and hand sanitiser and tissues are available in the studio at all times. All other surfaces and door handles are cleaned every day. I will be encouraging students to wash their hands at the start of classes.
The Retreat on 28th March is still going ahead, as this is a small group and as long as everyone is healthy, there should be minimal risk. If there is a change to this I will write to those affected and post on Facebook.
My existing Cancellation Policy has not been changed, please see below for further information. I will continue to review this in line with government guidelines.
I do not issue refunds on class bookings.
If you register for a class and later become unable to attend, I will gladly offer you class credit if you notify me at least 24 hours before the class. After the cut off date for your class, I am unable to offer credits or reschedule requests.
My classes require a great deal of pre-planning, including ordering supplies and tools. When students ask to cancel or reschedule, I lose money. As a small business, it is extremely difficult for me to absorb these costs and keep my class fees low.
In fairness to all of my customers I am unable to make exceptions to my policy, including for reasons of illness, travel, or family emergency. If you are unable to attend a class, I suggest giving your spot to a friend or family member!
If I cancel a class for any reason you will be offered the choice of a full refund or a place in the next suitable class or time slot.
