Let's Get Together

Sometimes it can feel a bit daunting to take that first step. 'What if everyone else is better than me? What if everyone else has a friend there? I don't know what I'm doing'. This is me at the moment - wanting to start a new exercise class (something dance-y that I can jig around to and have fun but also get some cardio in! I don't get much of that sitting at my sewing machine!). But this could just as easily be you...wanting to start a sewing class.

Here's the thing. Just book and turn up. I LOVE TEACHING - all levels, all projects. I gave up my previous career (shhh... I used to be an accountant) so that I could help you lovely people to learn to sew or improve your skills. It makes my day! There is no judgement of any kind here - sewing brings us together. And I have a theory that anyone with a sewing needle in their hand or a project in their lap is a kind and open human.

My sewing room is a happy place for me and I hope for you too. I try to put a good variety of sewing classes onto my website - but I am always happy to offer what you want to do.

Some ideas to get you sewing:

Book a session with your friends? Make a pair of knickers or some PJ bottoms?

Get in the mood for Christmas - book a family session to make luxury Christmas stockings or tree decorations?

Come along to my next sewing retreat - Saturday 9th November. Enjoy a delicious Tiptree Afternoon Tea at Writtle Tea Rooms and receive a sewing goodie bag! I've just sourced some very special treats for this retreat that I am super excited to share with you.

And if you give it a go - I promise I will book that exercise class!

Happy Sewing,

Jo xx
